Testimonials
‘Karen is an outstanding Hairdresser, kind, understanding, treated each client as an individual. She interacted with them and made them feel special, fulfilling their needs. She is aware and understands dementia.’ Joyce Gilfroy — RGN Registered Manager ‘Karen at Hair, Care & Dementia does more than hairdressing, she gives her clients friendship back. An outstanding hairdresser, showing so much patience & care, making her clients feel valued.’ Bernie — Carehome Colleague ‘Karen has been the most wonderful hairdresser to my Mum, who had a severe stroke 9 months ago. Despite Mum being restricted to a wheelchair and with very limited communication skills, Karen gives her a therapeutic session each time, from washing her hair to the blow-dry. Karen is very adaptable, caring understanding and respectful to Mum’s conditions and I am certain the sessions boost Mum’s confidence and in turn, help her in her recovery.’ Debbie — Daughter of Joyce (Client) ‘Karen is kind, considerate and has an ability to put her clients at ease. I have worked with her in the Care Setting and her empathy and knowledge of Dementia Care shows in her holistic approach. I have been so impressed that I have entrusted my own Mother to her. I always know when Karen has been, as her hair looks fantastic and as my Mother says ‘My friend has been’ – her spirits lifted. I could not recommend Karen more highly.’ D Nicol – Activity Co-ordinator
